vanae’s quote of the dae: “Be mindful of how you approach time. Watching the clock is not the same as watching the sun rise.” by Sophia Bedford-Pierce
Lately, the sunrises and sunsets have been beautiful. the mixture of lilac purple, soft reds and tangerine orange. but this concoction of lovely colors may be due to pollution. makes me wonder about how beauty can come from ugly…and how change takes time, yet death takes away time.
i started this entry a few months ago, but didn’t finish it until i saw a lovely sunset this past weekend.
when was the last time you saw the sun set or rise? what were you thinking about?
well , I saw the sunset about a month ago , and I was thinking about the girl I will love and how she looks like?and how sweet she is ? and how I gonna spend time with her ? , I thought I would share some of this with you vanae , sorry if that bothers u .
In my line of work, I don’t see to many sunsets, but I do get to see it rise. Yesterday, seeing the colors mesh and twine to gether, it was as if God had painted it just for me. The only problem was that I didn’t have a lady to share it with. Maybe tomorrow’s will be different.
After an entire night of partying, it was time to drive home.
6:30 in the morning. I had never been out with friends this long. The sunrise came. I wish I was sober when I saw it. I felt a slight tinge of guilt cause I had never seen the sun rise and always wanted to share it with someone special for my first time. Oh well… it was still beautiful breaking over the mountains
ahhh lovely, thanks for sharing your sunset memories!
