vibrant

someone (fran) once told me that my dating life is vibrant. is it because:

*i hung out with a lesbian, who then turned out to be the sister of a guy i hooked up with

*my platonic friend made a move on me out of the blue and asked if things were going anywhere. ackward*

*i went on a date with a guy who turned out to be the same guy i stopped seeing after one date 4-5 years ago. awkward*

*i dated a vancouver guy, who i was super compatible with… actually turned out to be psycho. he striked out 3 times:

1) getting jealous because i was talking to a hot female friend

2) freaked out because i asked him what he thought about dating other people

3) didn’t come to my event (that i’ve been planning for months) because he didn’t feel comfortable being surrounded by my friends

*the most recent guy i really liked, turned out to be emotionally unavailable, semi-depressed and unstable. but he is sweet and an honest gentleman…

dating issues: we all have them.

what’s yours?

he’s not honest, or a gentleman… be glad you’re free to find someone emotionally available, not depressed, and stable

  2. Fran Says:

i love hearing about your dating expeditions, because they’re all so ridiculous. someday you’ll need to blog about **that** one ;-)

  3. Honest Gentlemen Says:

Vibrant is the word and is quite fitting. When do we wonder what we are is similar to what we attract? Or is it in most times opposite?

I’d imagine it not being hard to find a vibrant guy that is a honest gentlemen without the qualities of being jealous, psycho, depressed, emotionally unstable, and unavailable? Is it? And the adventures continue…

    Honest Gentleman
