break through technology for breakups
it use to be that couples would end a relationship face to face or through a hand-written letter, but ever since technology has been introduced, we’ve come up with new ways to break up. today, my friend told me that her bf broke up with her over aim (aol instant messenger). sad, but alisa had a story that topped that one! her friend’s long-term fiance broke off the engagement through a text message.
technology has made our lives faster and more convinient. even speeding up and delivering a cold way to not deal with live human responses.
okae, okae..i’ve done it before. i’ve broken up with one of my exs over aim (at least starting the conversation). have you used technology for a break-up? how interesting would it be if we retracted back to our traditional ways of hand-written pieces and broke up with our significant other through a post-it note?

I myself have never experienced breakup through technology, but I have a good friend who her bf broke up with her over AIM. And they were together for 4 years! She was pissed! I’ve also heard stories of another friend via text message. Lame!
Hahaha… post it note would be hilarious. Or even snail mail, or a delivery guy on a horse.
Or… how about breaking up by posting a comment on your boyfriend/girlfriend’s blog? That would be bad too.

Well don’t phones count as technology?

Have we become so lazy, insincere, and just plain ol comfortable with the detrimental effects that technology affects and dilutes our genuine relationships? Current society perpetuates this, but we have a choice…

La tecnologÃa no es culpable de nada. Cuando alguien desea cortar con su pareja, usa el método que más le conviene (en este caso el Messenger, Irc, teléfono o lo que sea. Incluso por SMS.
Isn’t it?
