watermelons
megadeth put on a fantastic show! i have so much respect for their musicianship.
but before dave mustaine took the stage, my coworkers and i were backstage, talking to him. we huddle around in a circle around him just like good ol’ story time.
nikhyl: looks like it’s storytime.
dave: ha. i dont mind telling you a story. pick a topic. (everyone laughs)
vanae (blurts out): watermelons!
dave: okay. a story before or after i got famous?
vanae: before (of course)
dave: back in the 80’s in huntingon beach, there was a big beach party and everyone was eating watermelon soaked with LSD. i was frying out of my mind when hell was breaking loose on the beach. there was a conflict between the mexicans and the others. this guy was shot and had a bullet through his back…blood gushing out of his body. there i am, frying off my ass staring at the blood that was oozing out of his body.
everyone cheers! i’d invite him to my friend’s kindergarden storytime anytime!
vanae’s tip of your dae: you should be happy doing what you’re doing, if not, why are you there? the dave mustaine/megadeth experience and the message below makes me happy about my work:

What a heartwarming story, but what else would you expect from Megadeth.
