Teenage dating! Heartache?

Do you remember your first relationship in high school? Yes, for some of us, we have to think back…way back. Remember the butterflies? The intense emotions? The heartache?

We all went through it and survived! Not only that, we’ve dated much more since then. So goes to show that we’re never at the end of the road. We’re only at the beginning!

Here’s my new episode with guest, Dr. Adam, on teenage dating and heartache.

V’stars, share your teenage love story or heartbreak!

Woo! Vanae bringing out the big guns with the Clinical Psychologist.

My first real attempt at having a girlfriend was in what we called Junior High; or what alot people call Middle School. Her name was Christy. She had big brown eyes(I think), a big black mane of hair, a beautiful teethy smile, & a beautiful curvascious figure. I wrote notes & poetry, & asked her to the “50′s retro dance” & she accepted. Of course, I was devistated when she was not interested in being my girlfriend. It was “puppy love”, as they call it; & I licked my wounds, as my attention gathered focus else where.

The subject is “teenage dating! heartache?” To me this says: Virgin life forms experiencing new & unknown emotions. The amount of drama will seem to have no end.

Well i’m in college right now, but I missed that whole phase in high school. so i’m going through it right now. Any tips to make things better with her, or maybe even move on…

Ah, high school. That wonderful time in a teens life where everything that goes wrong is blamed on everyone but oneself. I still have a two semesters left until I graduate and move on to college. Whoo!

The thing that I can’t help but notice is that so many people fall apart if they don’t have a hand to hold on their way to class. I’m being serious with this one. The number of kids who make a big deal about being single at that school is ridiculous. And when a kid isn’t single they like to let everyone else know! I don’t want to see that while I’m on my way to English class. I can understand the hand holding and maybe a peck on the cheek or lips, but making out in the hall is just…gah.

Well, to get back on topic, I don’t like teenagers in general. I don’t like being a teen either for the mere fact that I have to second guess myself on almost everything I do because I know I’m thinking with emotion more so than logic. And here I thought I was getting on topic…crap.

    Wow, High school… What a bitter/sweet memory…

For those of you V-Star’s out there and going through the pressures and tribulations of of Love and lust, more power to you.

The only advice I can give is to build and control your self confidence. If you feel great about being you, then it will go far.Confidence REALLY proved to be the best tool of defense during a break up and such.

    Now onto the the Question…

    My love story…

We’ll call this Erica. Simple and short.

I could write NOVELS about Erica.

I met Erica at a dance,
    Dated throughout high school
After high school dated on and off for a couple years.
Then we became best of friends.
    Till last December (12/27/08)

Great vid vanae :) i can give this two thumbs up. Well seeing that
I’m still pretty much going through all the up and downs and dating
as a teen… yeah it can get kind of hectic and over whelming.
I was thinking about that a few days ago and ended up writing
this poem. This probably sums everything up :)
