over the weekend, i was having dinner with a group of friends including my best friend, dana. being at a restaurant, it was natural to have a conversation about dietary restrictions and being a vegetarian.
dana said “oh no, i’m a total cannibal. i need meat”.
5 seconds later she realized that she’s a doof, because she meant to say ‘carnivore’. instead, she said ‘cannibal’, as in the people-eating people.

Usually I’m the one that ends up saying something stupid. Usually its a freudian slip like when I saw a commercial for cat food that had tigers and lions and panthers as well as house cats. I was like “awww… I like titties” haha In my brain… I hadn’t made up my mind if I wanted to say tigers or kitties so it ended up smushing them together for me. Thanks brain! Damn… the girls never let me live it down.
