Life & Dating Coach

The freshest coach to empower
you for love and life!

Before I started reading Vanae's blogs on relationship advice, I was in a dead-end relationship. The girl who I had feelings...

Need more soul

How? and Why? Two great questions that we ask to find out someone’s path – to an understanding, to an occurrence or to someone’s passion.

When people find out that I am a Life & Dating Coach, the most frequent question I get is ‘How did you become a Life & Dating Coach?’ and ‘Why do you do it?’

Sure, I can give the answer “Through my own personal journey and years of being the go-to person for conversations around dating, sex and relationships, it was my calling to transform this knack to help people. Then YouTube show. Then Vanae.com. Voila!” But what actually got me here is..

SOUL.

My soul brought me here to bring more passion to the world.
And my passion is to add more soul to you, the way you date and to the way you live your life. No shortcuts. No silly tactics. Just pure consciousness, motivation, awareness, depth = soul. and living life to the very fullest!

I want to add more soul to your life so that you feel empowered and live a happier lifestyle.

I’m sure I was born with soul (as we all were), but it took conscious decisions towards harvesting and growing to make it flourish.

Here is a great excerpt by Andrew Schneider, which he shares our current need for soul in today’s world:

“We live in a culture that is greatly biased against the imagination, because our culture is very materialistic, objective and literal. Our culture lacks soul, and doesn’t know it, although it experiences the consequences. When you don’t know what’s missing, then of course you don’t know what to bring in, even though you feel something is missing.”

“We live in a world that needs more soul, more meaning. We, as conscious beings, have, as our primary responsibility, at this time in human history, the task of bringing soul into the world, or releasing soul into the world. We do this, first of all, in ourselves and in our own personal world; then we do it in our groups – including family; then we do it in our society through our work, relationships and presence there.” — Andrew Schneider

V’stars, what do you think? How do YOU add more soul?

It’s easy to lose sight and effort in adding soul/meaning to our working lives. Hence, I will be writing an article on HOW TO ADD MORE SOUL soon. So subscribe if you haven’t already.

Love,
Vanae

I suppose I’ve added soul to the world through my artwork. I’m a digital artist and I like to use Photoshop to paint using specific color palettes and shapes to create atmosphere and hopefully convey human emotion. I try to use my emotions to empower some of my art too. So when I’m feeling particularly down or some specific emotion I pour that what I am doing to help create both a enriched piece of artwork but also because it is therapeutic for me.

Blogs like this one definitely add more soul and a level of intellect to the world.

One of the greatest feelings is to give total strangers a great compliment to make their day more soulful.

When you see their faces light-up after receiving their unexpected compliment, not only does it make them feel emotionally happy, it also has a moving effect on your own person as well.

I make it a habit to compliment strangers everyday, whether it be their nice shoes, nice hand bag or dress e.t.c

Try it and see how more soulful you can make the world everyday!

As usual here is my related song for the day:

Let me share a prayer from my alma mater:

Grant us, O God, that we may worship Thee to the utmost of faith and the limits of truth and suffer us not to fail to see the light of our true religion.

Guide us that we may live this life to the fullest in devotion to Thee, in service to humanity and country, and in the realization of our true self.

Let the light of Thy divine wisdom direct us to a firm resolve to live up at all times to the creeds of our institution and teach us never to fail to measure up to the ideals of the profession we have chosen through life to follow.

Make us do, or think or say of others that which we want done, or thought or said of us.

Help us to live each day in the passing years in useful effort that our lives may be spent in accord with the pattern of our creeds – the true, the noble, and the high.

Give us that honest purpose in life which seeks fair deal with everyone and spurns all forms of hypocrisy that will enkindle our fighting faith, and smother all seeds of cowardice and fear in our hearts; the loyalty to our principles that place all issues above personal considerations, and shuns compromise with vice and injustice.

Strengthen our hearts with fortitude that we may discipline our lives to trail the difficult paths rather than stray on the easier ways.

Teach us to aspire above the level of common lives.

Help us to see all things in their true light that we may guard against frivolity in the sacred things of life even as we may enjoy in clean laughter its many delights.

Teach us to make our play in every game, whether in mere sports or life’s mightier struggles, one where our desire to win is second only to our love of the game itself, where we triumph as considerate victors or lose with grace and determined will to win.

Endow our hearts with kindness that we may sympathize with those who sorrow and suffer; unite us in friendhsip with all and help us to share the merriment of those with cheerful countenance that we may partake of their joy.

All of which we ask with faith in the everlastingness of Thine fount of grace to all men. Amen.

Now note this part:
“Teach us to make our play in every game, whether in mere sports or life’s mightier struggles, one where our desire to win is second only to our love of the game itself, where we triumph as considerate victors or lose with grace and determined will to win.”

I mean adding soul means loving what you are doing. And looking at it, Vanae loooooooves what she is doing. Keep it up.

Nice post. Not enough ppl put enough soul into anything. But as soon as I find those few that do, it’s fireworks. Passion is addictive and spreads like wildfire. Complacency is much the same so it’s important to never give up and never stop being passionate. I really like this post. Your posts are always good but this one’s great ^_^

worst thing is the value on money is being relied on far too much its pure necessity to own some coins/paper w/e when it’d be 100 times better without the next for currency. far too controlling and limiting.

Great post, look forward to reading the coming article. Understanding how each of us is meant to “add soul” is an exciting personal journey we should all endeavour to undertake. I think it helps us to direct and lead fulfilling lives. For me there one area that resonates with who I am, which is intercultural and international understanding and co-operation.

It’s been exciting and really quite liberating emotionally. When I was younger I felt unworthy and I let my fears box me in. In the last few years, helped by the encouragement of those around me, I’ve looked inside of myself, choosing to see who I really am. It’s been quite transformational. My new-found freedom and desire to express mySelf has swept me along. The more I travel the more I enjoy the journey!

Well, in my personal opinion its whatever speaks to your heart, maybe its music, fighting, or being an artist if there is something you love doing and it makes you happy doing it everytime then i believe that is what drives you to add soul, why? because when you do something you love your going to want to get better at it, eventually it will become a passion for you, you will be great at it, but only if your determined and shoot for the stars =]
The thing that speaks to my heart and drives my soul is playing the Violin.
