highlight of the dae: melting

standing in the baby aisle, i was surrounded by teeny weeny pastel clothes and accessories . baby giraffes. pink. minitature socks. lush soft blankets. fuzzy rattles. blue. baby turtles. stars. rubber ducky bibs. tiny gloves.

what is it about tiny things, that makes us melt?

maybe its a reflection of innocence; it’s the tiny things that we started out with and it always seems with age and responsibility the goal is to get bigger and better things. The small things in life have no status symbol yet because we all started out with nothing and no matter how much we collect, no matter how big our houses are..no matter how many carats are on that finger or how much horsepower is behind that wheel…we all just ultimately end up with nothing. It reminds us of a more simple time when the small things in life were all that we needed to make us happy..the beginning of what we have become today.
