Hi Vanae,
I was not expecting a reply from you. i was thinking more of the the readers who would read it.

My eldest daughter is 8 and my youngest is 21 months.

I am guessing you are probably born when your parents did not bother you wearing a helmet and a knee pad, watched sesame street and know who snuffalafagus is. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo’s, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 100 channels on cable, no DVD movies, no surround stereo, no IPOD’s, no cellphones, no computers, no Internet, no chat rooms, and no Friendsters. …… ….WE HAD REAL FRIENDS and we went outside to actually talk and play with them!

There are couple defining moments but one big one was attending my cousins wedding in Newport Beach. Just something about that ceremony re-vamped me and made me appreciate my surroundings and the people around me as well inspired me to look forward to the day when i’d be up there.

Funny I was asking this question to mylself and had to ponder for a long time.

I came to a conclusion that I can enumerate all the accomplishments (and frustrations) in my life but would not be able to choose what is the greatest.

I have found happiness and complacency with what I have…. my wife and kids, a job and the security I provide them.

Going back to the question what is my greatest accomplishment? I will yet to find out on my death bed when I look back seeing how I have raised my children and have families of their own and realize i have not failed to have provided and brought them up properly.

That will be my greatest accomplishment. I am only 29 and I have a life time to achieve it.

I think finding an Identity was my greatest accomplishment. During my gradeschool I was practically lost in translation with everyone. But coming into college (one of my great accomplishments) everyone there had something in common which was a passion for art. there I could be whatever and no one would judge, whereas in highschool being independent and different didn’t mix with most of the crowd so I had to be grounded and secure. Art college gave me the opportunity to explore my different, unique sides, But I also like to thank grade school for making me into the atypical person that I am
