Game Dae Wednesdae: Break off song

You feel a soft shock everytime, doesn’t matter who.
Doesn’t matter how deep.

Every ending sends a soft shock.

————–

This is the feeling after a breakup, break off or let down.
V’stars, curious of what your ‘moment after dawn’ song is? You know…the song that capsulates how you freshly feel afterwards.

This is mine: Soft Shock (Yeah Yeah Yeah)

Shadow of the Day- Linkin Park…

One hell of a captivating jam.

Die Die My Darling – by Metallica.
    Kidding :P

    I don’t have such a song.

All Good Things (come to an end) by Nelly Furtado. It’s such a gorgeous song and fully embodies how I’ve felt in failed relationships, hopes that have never worked out, or even events which have turned out disastrously. Few songs timelessly connect with me like this one, but Nelly does an amazing job with this piece and I can definitely feel the emotion from my past and present creep in each time I listen.

“End of the World” by the Pet Shop Boys.

The title might come across as depressing, but the unexpected part is the lyrics. Listen and you’ll see what I mean. In addition, the music is rather catchy :)

Pretty good song. You have a very unique taste in music but it’s growing on me. “Little Bit” by Lykke Li is now one I’ve listened to everyday for like 2 weeks. Her other one “Untl we Bleed” is really cool to. This song really reminds me of both of those.

Let me think…what’s one that was my post break up song….Gavin, awesome choice btw. I guess, my dating life is starting to really take off so I’m not thinking of the endings right now. But one that has made my ‘current stuff I’m listening to list’ and is totally awesome is “Bohemian Like you” by the Dandy Warhols! Love that one :D

yeah, lykke li is pretty badass. i’m also digging ‘fever ray’ the solo album of the singer from ‘the knife’.

I would say the song Beautiful flower by India Arie. It’s such a song of healing and comfort. I love how meaningful it is. My favorite line is :
“Now we’re moving from the darkness into the light
This is the defining moment of our lives
‘Cause you’re beautiful like a flower
    More valuable than a diamond”

    Drops of Jupiter – Train

Just broke up recently, but this song gives me a good 4 minutes of peace and quiet in my head. I just hit it up and let the lyrics take me away.

    eg.
Tell me, did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the milky way and see lights all faded.
    And that heaven is overrated?

I got some sort of playlist

In The End by Linkin Park
    Starting Over by Korn.
    One More Day by Mushroomhead
I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace

The whole The End of Heartache By Killswitch Engage

Then I’m pretty good after that.

My most recent break-off song (found it when I ended last relationship about eight months ago) is Conceived Sorrow by Dir en Grey. It’s very emotionally charged and actually helped me feel much better.
