I remember pulling up behind about 5 trucks at a stoplight. The light was red. A homeless guy walked up, barely able to stand, with a please help sign. The light still red, all the trucks sped off I'm assuming to not look at the guy. Fuck, I felt bad. I stopped by him and handed the guy about 10 bucks and some gummy bear treats I had in my pocket. "Man, you gotta be kidding me. Thank you so much." I have a pretty good radar for people just feeding you BS stories for drug money by now... That moment moved me. I hope he's doing well.
