Q: Hello Vanae, I’m kind of the guy who has lots of hair on my body so wondering… is it a big problem to be hairy?

Like any other physical traits, it boils down to preference. Some women don’t mind lots of hair. Some women can’t stand it and others LOVE it (because it shows masculinity). It also depends on culture and where you live. For some cultures, it’s natural and accepted to be hairy.
Personally, I prefer men who are not amazon-ian (you know what I mean) or people who are clean-cut because it shows that they take care of themselves. No matter what, you’re going to attract a variety of women carrying their own preference. Ultimately, it’s about how YOU feel about it. Be comfortable with it or if it bothers you, then you can do something about it (trim, wax, laser removal).
Vanae’s tip of the dae: Trim! Goes for both women and men. No matter how hairy you are (gorilla or not), make sure you trim & groom down there! Yes, we do care! No, it’s not gay if you trim. It’s clean. Makes you look bigger. It’ll be worth it.

A buddy of mine also wanted to say THANKS for the advice you gave him. Earlier this week, my friend was a little concerned about a new girl he was dating. His dilemma..was that he’s a bit hairy…he didn’t want to scare her off with his “ape” hair..haha. So he asked me, “What should i do?”. Also, if you’re already comfortable with a woman, varying your hair anywhere can be fun and a turn-on. I have medium chest hair but agreed with someone I was seeing that I would remove it all. Not gay, as you said, Vanae…she loved it!

I hate this topic, & the topic of hair, in general. I’m bald, so I shave my head, & I have had a hairy chest since my late teens. Younger women definitely don’t go for the hairy guy. Especially if you’re that guy who wears a button-up shirt with two buttons undone. Also, a gold chain & charm says disco. I see that & think “dude is just staying alive staying alive ah ah ah staying aliiiiiiive…..” Being the hairy chest guy at 21 makes you look like the chapperone or Uncle at the beach or pool. Plus, having a shaved head, when the shirt comes off, nothing looks like what is expected.
I actually kinda go through stages. There’s times where I like my girl to be trimmed or even fully shaved and times when I don’t mind some hair–>She doesn’t grow a lot…. She doesn’t like me to shave at all tho which I always thought was unusual. But i guess, y mess w/ perfection?

I like the look and feel of smooth skin. The only place anyone should have hair is on the top of the head.
I shave everything bare on a regular basis, including south of the belt buckle. Not only does it make me look clean, but I feel cleaner when I step out of the shower. Body odor is caused by bacteria, which clings to hair. Shave the hair, and you’ll have improved personal hygiene.
I recommend the Philips Bodygroom (BG) 2030. It’s a huge improvement over its BG 2020 predecessor.
Stay away from the Remington “Body Groomer Titanium”! It’s the one with the orange and grey handle. On the first trial run, it chewed up my chest so badly that it was definitely a band-aid moment.
Good thing I kept the receipt! I took the Remington back to the Target store and exchanged it for a BG 2030. It works great! It’s a solid built razor, more than enough power on one charge to shave everything, and it works as advertised.

hey vanae i ve a lil question and i hope u can help me out,,i found a gurl on a website like 1year ago we were dating but we never saw each other so we disided to break it up,,i really love this gurl and i really wanna make her my gurl but sometimes it seems that she is interested in me but then when i say i want to meet her or something she tells me she dont ve time and stuff,,but luckly one day when i askeed her out she agreed but came with her friend on the date,,so nothin happend really i really love her and i dont know what to do,,i dont know what to do to get her,,so what do u think i should do,,?

No offense but what if you were some physco, she probably was just being safe incase you weren’t how you appeared on the net…thats all, you shouldn’t take it personal, there is lots of bad stuff that happens on the internet so its very understandable…
