For the fellas:
Be a gentleman.
Chivalry never goes out of style. Open doors; pull out chairs; offer to undo your own belt.
For the ladies:

During the meal, order something that will get his attention, like a side of bacon for dessert.
I can’t think of anything sexier.

Any tips to share?

If you actually got Stephen Colbert to make those tips, then the next step is obvious. Get on his show!!!! That’d be awesome!
Here’s tips for women paraphrased from Chappelle:
“I’m tired of seeing all these magazine ads about 500 ways to please your man written by some woman. Come on now, there’s only 4 things you can do to please any guy.
Suck on his dick,
play with his balls,
make him a sandwich,
don’t talk so much.
Do that, I guarantee he’ll be happier”
Chappelle is hilarious.
Chivalry has gotten me nowhere, but that’s not my focus for being a gentleman, which would be a mistake in my opinion and eventually seen as fake. I am a gentleman because woman deserve to be treated correctly and with respect.
Although by my dating record (or lack of), one might debate me on that.
Colbert probably wouldn’t go there, but I prefer to think of chivalry in the way Confucius does. He uses the term “Junzi” to describe an exemplary person who treats others nobly and well — not just because they deserve it (as I also believe women do) but because in treating others well and generously, we’re being our best selves.
Chivalry has never been dead and when you want to date and make it progress to another level, it is really important to be a gentleman. There’s nothing wrong with being a gentleman, it actually does not lessen your manliness.
