Game Dae Wednesdae: If you were to think of the last person you dated, which reason would you send him/her?

Last year, I did a GDW on Crushes and I loved reading about all the v’stars and their crushes! So, I’m going to do this every year and see if/how our crushes change over the years.

So let’s kick it off with the exploration of the different types of crushes. We’ve got the:

Celebrity crushes- well, this is pretty obvious. Mine would be Robert Pattinson (I know, I’m a cougar but he’s so British charming!).

Internet crushes- those hot and intriguing individuals you’ve only seen online but have yet to meet. (I have two of them): 1) Peter Cashmore (CEO of Mashable, handsome and entrepreneurial) 2) Patrick Boivin (Brilliant film & animation director who I don’t even know what he looks like but I admire his creative film work)

Secret crush: someone who you are really fond of, think of, but have yet to reveal your feelings.

Then there’s the Crushing Crush, the ultimate of all crushes. This person is active in your life and your heart is really set only on this one individual. I’ll share my crushing crush…my wonderful boyfriend, who is all sorts of awesome. He’s confident and supports me in the moments when I’m not. He also supports me: emotionally each time I need a heart hug, a fine gentleman who’s not afraid to be caring, verbally with his sweet compliments & motivation and physically with his squeezing hugs. Most of all, he’s my Crushing Crush because he embraces everything about me and treats me beyond-right. And you deserve to be treated like a Goddess or The Man, so don’t settle for anything less than that!

So whether you’re with this person, hoping to or have an admiration from a short distance, I want to know is who is your Crushing Crush? and why?

Mine is Moulin Rouge! It’s a brilliant musical that has a devastating love story within a love story- reviving old and new songs into a musical. Watch it!

A mixture of nervousness and anticipation bubbles inside my chest and creeps up to the surface of my skin. My hands getting a little moist and with each heartbeat, it burst out of my skin and ripples through the space around me. He leans in closer and our lips were meant to join….but our lips center missed each other by a bit, but we adjusted…still managing to connect our tongues as we open our mouth. We did it imperfectly, but at that moment it felt..perfect.

There. It was the completion of my first kiss.
His name was Jacky and he was my first boyfriend during my high school years.

Cookies are timeless and great for any time of the day. The photo above is the batch of cookies I baked last night- pistachio shortbread star cookies.

So for this week, I want to know- What is your favorite kind of cookie?

Your eyes are resting, as you turn in towards your significant other. The bed…tangled in the blanket with cold feet and arms’ angles. Cuddled up, warm and you find yourself reaching for his/her hand. Complete. Smiling. Then, falling asleep.

For some couples, this is a must, to go to bed. For others, holding hands while sleeping is too cheesy. What say you?

It’s always easy to talk about something if there is no time limit or paragraph restrictions. But when meeting a new person and sharing what you do for a living or delivering punch lines, it’s important to be able to summarize and communicate. Instead of being verbose when communicating with another person, whether it be an argument, compliment, etc.

Did I ever mention that Passion Pit and Phoenix are epic roadtrip music?! Something about driving a straight road, sun beaming and rows of trees aligned on your side, driving towards a majestic mountain….rocking Phoenix music. It’s like you’re in a music video…or even better, this is the soundtrack of your life.

So now, whenever I heard Phoenix music, I think of the fantabulous RV roadtrip to Disneyland for my bday and my most recent roadtrip to Portland & Seattle with my awesome cousin, Viet.

Life is made of magical moments like these.

PS- Didn’t think a band could conjure up so many good memories. As I was going through Phoenix’s new and old tracks on YouTube, I came across this song…I’d like to dedicate ‘If I ever feel better’ by Phoenix to BT (my ex) and very good friend today. Heart of Gold. Lover of Music. He inspired me to embrace my voice, style and music. Always be thankful for those who made an impact on your life – large or small.
