Your eyes are resting, as you turn in towards your significant other. The bed…tangled in the blanket with cold feet and arms’ angles. Cuddled up, warm and you find yourself reaching for his/her hand. Complete. Smiling. Then, falling asleep.
For some couples, this is a must, to go to bed. For others, holding hands while sleeping is too cheesy. What say you?
This Game Dae Wednesdae: Holding hands while sleeping….yes or no? Comment below!
Game Dae Wednesdae: Describe Vanae.com in one sentence!
It’s always easy to talk about something if there is no time limit or paragraph restrictions. But when meeting a new person and sharing what you do for a living or delivering punch lines, it’s important to be able to summarize and communicate. Instead of being verbose when communicating with another person, whether it be an argument, compliment, etc.
So go ahead, practice.
How would you describe Vanae.com in one sentence?
I might chose yours as part of my new website design
Game Dae is coming a bit early this week, as I compose an article on the 3rd anniversary of Vanae.com.
Did I ever mention that Passion Pit and Phoenix are epic roadtrip music?! Something about driving a straight road, sun beaming and rows of trees aligned on your side, driving towards a majestic mountain….rocking Phoenix music. It’s like you’re in a music video…or even better, this is the soundtrack of your life.
So now, whenever I heard Phoenix music, I think of the fantabulous RV roadtrip to Disneyland for my bday and my most recent roadtrip to Portland & Seattle with my awesome cousin, Viet.
Life is made of magical moments like these.
I want to know…what’s your favorite roadtrip music?
PS- Didn’t think a band could conjure up so many good memories. As I was going through Phoenix’s new and old tracks on YouTube, I came across this song…I’d like to dedicate ‘If I ever feel better’ by Phoenix to BT (my ex) and very good friend today. Heart of Gold. Lover of Music. He inspired me to embrace my voice, style and music. Always be thankful for those who made an impact on your life – large or small.
I came across a fun question on Ramit‘s newsletter and thought it would be fun to share with you too. For this week’s Game Dae Wednesdae, I want you to answer:
Imagine you had $250,000 in your bank account right now.
* What would you do with the money?
* How is that different than what you’re doing right now?
We all have had one or a few instances of puppy love. My very first puppy love was my high school boyfriend, Jacky. You know that intense crazy feeling between Bella & Edwards in Twilight…well, that’s what I felt (minus the fangs and vampire tendencies). It was beautiful. It was painful. It was intense. I thought it was love at that time. All that, was puppy love.
So for this week’s Game Dae Wednesdae: Who was your puppy love? Share your story!
This week’s game was inspired by this music video produced by my friend, Carl. I’m in it as well. (Trying my acting skills) Enjoy!
The photo above was taken at my most recent volunteering: Rebuilding Together Day, where me along with 35 other volunteers helped revamp a local senior’s home. We were sanding, painting, cleaning, scooping, lifting….working with our hands from 7am. And the elderly homeowner was soo appreciative. It was great!
You know I’m the biggest advocate for volunteering, making a positive impact on someone or in the community. This week, I would love for you to share your best volunteer experience and what made it special for you!
Last week, I did an episode on trust and believing what your significant other revealed about their sexual history. Inevitably, this spawned the discussion about sex partners ( and sadly, some guys had very sexist thoughts/expectations of women). One male even commented that he wanted to know how many people she’s been with so that he can protect her. Now, I’ve never heard of this reasoning before..so I’m surveying you to get your thoughts on this topic.
First off. we all know how important it is to honestly talk about sexual history with your mate – about sexual practices, STIs, safer sex, birth control, etc. So this talk is standard and it’s essential. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way…
Game Dae Wednesdae is: Does it matter to you about your partner’s past sex rendevous? Whether it be the number of partners, what they’ve experience, how long ago? If so, why? Also, what is your age? and I’m not referring to as a curiosity. When I say matter, I mean, it really matters to you.
I have a theory about this and will see if it’s true according to our v’stars.
