Be daring!

Do you have an outfit you’ve been wanting to wear but haven’t?
How about that person you’ve been dying to ask out but have yet to?
Or that country you’ve always wanted to travel to?!

Be daring! Life is about what you’ve done..what you’ve conquered..not the ‘what if’.
Make it memorable for you!
I went daring for my Halloween costume this year. What was your costume and how did you spend your Halloween?

  1. Hey you little hottie! Your video is awesome! I really want to learn how to “snaz” up my videos … any pointers? If so … I’d be happy to give you full credit with a nice link back from my blog … just let me know. Great job on your numbers out of the gate BTW … *huGs* Suzanne

    Happy Halloween, Vanae!

I decided 2 be be daring this Halloween and go to work dressed up as a Jabberwakie,(U know the white-masked breakdancers on TV?). Since I’m a pretty good Pop/locker myself, my co-workers and I had a pretty good time!

By the way, like WOW! Don’t get a big head or nothin’ kid, but your Sexy Eskimo costume was pretty AWESOME! What was inside of it wasn’t too bad either! Hummm, Awesome personality, rockin’ hairdo, cute face? We may be talkin’ total package here.

On that note; seeing were talking about being daring and all. I think I’m going to take your advice and ask U out for coffee! There is just too much awesomeness about you for me not to. U got my info, give me a call.

      L to the OL.
Is this guy game or what?
btw Vanae your tips are awesome. I have a question; I’m an Aussie and Im going to live in London for 1 year. Do you think it would be wrong to get into a serious relationship with a girl knowing I will have to come home? Cheers,
      your aussie pal

      • vanae says:

        hey andy,
as long as your honest with her and let her know how far you think the relationship can go, it’s fine. powered with that, she’s an adult and she can make her own decision.

        =)
        Vanae

It doesn’t sound like it would be wrong to get involved with someone even if you are coming home. The only thing is that if you really start caring for this girl it’s going to be extra hard for either of you to leave. I dated this guy last year who had just moved to canada from London and he bassically told me he was only here for 6 monthes. The time when he was there was great but of course he had to leave eventually and that was like the hardest thing. I think I probably cried about missing him for like monthes after that. Anyways I guess what I’m saying is if you do find someone just be sure that if you start dating you’re prepared to say goodbye.

I can jump out of a plane, or dress as a twinkie for Halloween (Yes, I did dress as a twinkie one time, cream filling and all. It was between that and a ring ding or yodel ;) ), but daring when it comes to asking a lady out? Still haven’t gotten there yet…

    • vanae says:

      balls out bobby.
      just do it!

it’s good to understand what’s holding you back..
fear of rejection? not knowing what to say?

once you know what it is, you back tackle it and move beyond it.

      • lfv says:

You may want to keep your balls in, Bobby, or you’ll get arrested for indecent exposure. Other than that, though, listen to Vanae’s advice. This girl sounds like she knows what she’s talking about. :^ )

  5. Sam Wall says:

I was at work for halloween. good times. not really, but it pays the bills and I just don’t let it bother me when I’m not there. Haven’t figured out how to get it to not bother me while I’m THERE, but that’s another issue.

My costume. Amazing. Really. I went to work as a disneyland employee. I used to work there and I still have my name tag. So I just wore that with my work clothes. :D

  6. Leven says:

this place is getting popular. props to your camera man too for this awesome shot angle =P

  7. DK says:

Wow, that is really a daring costume. Looks good.

  8. Andy says:

    Hi Vanae,
    your advice is awesome:)
I do however have a question I would like to put foreward. Im an Aussie, and I will be living in London for 1 year. Is it a bad idea to get into any serious relationships with girls knowing that I will have to return home? Cheers,
    your aussie pal

  9. Jay says:

    Hubba! Hubba! Nice costume!

I think I ended up just wearing a big ol’ afro wig.

    Jay

  10. Andy C says:

Before I could think of a way to criticise the lack of ‘scariness’ in your costume I realised it was scary hot!

    BOO!

    Stay daring!

  11. bobby says:

You know Vanae, your advice is correct. Here’s the thing though; It’s who I am inside as a person not to ask woman out or approach them if I’m interested. I guess that’s the beta male part of me?

It may be not knowing how to ask or approach, or fear of rejection or both. In my life on some things I have been very alpha, but with the ladies? Very beta.

lfv hahaha, I don’t think I’ll have that as a worry too much. I agree that Vanae is someone with good insight and advice and enjoy absorbing what she has to say. Whether I’ll be able to implement any of her advice for ME, is really the question. I have never been known as Mr. confidence with the ladies lol

    • Andy says:

      mate,
just do it. What is the worst that could happen? I went out on Friday night with mates, and lets just say it went better than expected. Look, you have to be in it to win it. Otherwise you will get old and get no where. Bite the bullet, if she says no, she’s prolly a hag (lol), and who really cares? Your mates will think you have guts just asking anyway even if you are rejected. And if she says yes, have fun!

      anyways good luck,

      Andy the Aussie

  12. RR says:

hmmm…it seems like you’ve set the bar pretty high for your next year’s Halloween costume … hope its going to be even more daring! ;) … can’t wait! ;)

  13. Bobbi says:

For the first time since I was a kid I went as something unsexy.
    I was a zombie.
I was totally unattractive and a little scary.
    To me that was daring.

  14. Franz says:

I don´t have a costume but i see you look like a sexy bunny
and i going to put my pijama on like Hugh Hefner :p

    I´m Kiding

Seriously I´m Going to bed a Boy Like me in Mexico can be awake until 7:00 a.m. and been on Carpe Diem so Im go to sleep a litle

  15. Be careful you don’t catch a chest cold when wearing something like this!

  16. Joshua Pritt says:

hey i have a question? i asked a girl out and she said yes and when she said yes she gave me a cute grin ok. later that day one of her friends came and told me that she thinks her friend finds me attractive/sexy is this a normal thing for her friend to do or what? cause her friend came and told me that she told her that i asked her out and she was all giggly and stuff so im thinking this is good?
