‘together’ is theme in vietnam. from living together, eating together, bonding or sharing together. the culture is rich yet lifestyle is simple. barefeet, honesty, sharing family dinners, working hands, and low red chairs..vietnamese culture keeps you grounded. it keeps me grounded with the values that make up who i am.

Vanae, I thought that was really cool. I had no idea that you are so attached to Vietnam (va-K-ed, beautiful country) and can speak the language too. Culture is just another aspect of one’s life, it deepens the relationship of knowing ourselves and adds a lil extra to the pop-culture here in America.
Seeing your video also has inspired me to video-document life there too.
However, I’m also sorry for your loss. I, too am leaving on a trip in the next days to goto the Philippines for the same purpose, my grandmother also passed away.
